Horus was the son of Isis and Osiris. When Horus heard that Seth murdered Osiris, his father, he was over flowing with rage. Horus wanted revenge against his uncle so he challenged Seth to a battle. It was going to be a battle to the death! They fought until death and, during the process, Horus lost an eye. The Eye of Horus, as we now know it, symbolizes strength and bravery. In the end, Seth died, which was no great loss! Horus was the true Pharaoh of Egypt, as kind and generous a ruler as his father. All was well in Egypt.
