THE EXODUS-RAMSES

The Exodus of The Bible says that the hero Moses was left in a basket in the Nile River, was found by an Egyptian princess' slave, and was raised in the palace. If this is true, and Ramses was the prince during the time, they would have grown up together. Moses led the Jewish slaves out of Egypt. Maybe Ramses was the pharaoh during this time. The Jewish holiday of Passover comes from this story. It is said that Ramses only gave the Jewish permission to leave after Moses had angels kill every firstborn child or animal in each household, including Ramses'. Moses told the Israelites to smear the blood of a killed lamb on their doors.
PASSOVER
Because the Israelites had blood on their doors, the angels of death passed over their houses. The Egyptians' firstborns were said to have died. That is how the Jewish holiday of Passover began. The Egyptians' let the Jewish slaves go after this terrifying event. The pharaoh led chariots after them later, but Moses parted the Red Sea. The Jewish escaped through. When the Egyptians came, they drowned. It was a splendid triumph for Israel.
